Hollywood Stars of the Week showcases the 3 highest achieving students during a complete AR reading week. In order to qualify for the Hollywood Star award, a student must first meet his/her weekly AR goal. 3rd grade students must read 3 books per week, 1 fiction, 1 non-fiction & 1 choice, and maintain an 80% average or higher. The top 3 highest averages will be chosen for the award. In case of a tie, I then look at the number of books a student has read during the week.
